SUMMER ROLL CALL EVENT
RULES AND REGULATIONS
BY ENTERING THE COMPETITION YOU MUST AGREE TO THESE RULES, WHICH CREATE A CONTRACT SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING.
1. SPONSOR:
Nexon America Inc, who is solely responsible for all aspects of this sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes").
2. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD AND ENTRY; NO PURCHASE NECESSARY:
This Sweepstakes may only be entered by Internet, during the period commencing at 12:00 P.M., August 14, 2008, and ending at 11:59:59 P.M., September 9, 2008 (the "Sweepstakes Period"), as a registered member ("Member") of Nexon.net (the "Web Site"), which said Web site includes Sponsor's online game, MapleStory ("MapleStory"), by visiting the Web site and logging in by providing your Member Name and Password. For purposes of these Official Rules ("Rules"), all times and days are Pacific Time. If you are not a Member, you may easily register for free to become a Member through the link on the site: www.nexon.net by filling out the simple Registration Form. Upon registration, or if you are already a Member, you may participate in this Sweepstakes by logging-on and playing MapleStory on-line everyday during the Sweepstakes Period. Those users who log-on and play MapleStory on-line every day during the Sweepstakes Period shall automatically be entered in the Sweepstakes. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service will apply.
3. PROCEDURES:
At the close of the Sweepstakes Period, Sponsor shall randomly choose fifteen (15) Members from those Members who were automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. In addition, Sponsor shall randomly choose fifty (50) random Members from those Members who were automatically entered into the Sweepstakes. After the Winners are chosen, Sponsor shall send notification to each Winner via e-mail which shall also include a request for Winner's login information. Winners shall have 48 hours to respond to Sponsor's message and supply its login information to be eligible to receive the Prize. Upon response, Sponsor shall then verify whether Winner is in good standing with Sponsor's Web Site. Upon verification as set forth herein, the Prize will be transferred to the Winner's account. Disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: [1] In the event Sponsor identifies a Winner who has been banned the Website, [2] the return of any notice as undeliverable; [3] potential winner's failure to respond to Sponsor's notification within 48 hours of receipt and [4] any other non-compliance with the Rules. In the event of disqualification, a new winner will be chosen subject to the same procedure set forth above. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible Entries received. . A list of the Winners may be provided, by sending a self addressed stamped envelop to Nexon America Inc. at 137 N. Larchmont Blvd., #619 Los Angeles, CA 90004-3704. Allow 8-10 weeks for reply.
4. PRIZE:
The following Prizes will be awarded, subject to the procedures set forth in Section 3 above.

Upon verification as set forth above, the Prizes will be sent to each Winner within 30 days of verification. No substitution allowed, unless elected by Sponsor at its own discretion. ODDS OF WINNING WILL DEPEND ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED.
5. LIMITATIONS:
No more than one (1) prize will be awarded per Member chosen by Sponsor. In event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person entered into the Sweepstakes, the Entry will be deemed to be the person whose name the membership is registered. Entries by any method other than set forth above are void. Any use of automated or programmed methods of effecting Entry is prohibited. Open only to persons 13 or older upon entering who are legal residents of, and physically located within, the 50 states, Washington D.C. or Canada (excluding Quebec) ("Territory") and not employees of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies; the advertising, promotional or fulfillment agencies of any of them (individually and collectively, "Entities"); nor members of their households or immediate families. In addition, persons entering the Sweepstakes must be in good standing with Sponsor's Web site and have not been banned from MapleStory. Neither the Entities, nor any of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents or representatives (individually and collectively, "Releasees") are responsible for Entries from persons residing, or physically located, outside the Territory, or Entries that are altered, delayed, deleted, destroyed, failed, fraudulent, improperly accessed, inaccurate, incomplete, interrupted, late, lost, misrouted, multiple, non-delivered, stolen, tampered with, unauthorized or unintelligible; or any printing, production, technical, electronic or other errors; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications; failed phone, computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions; technical failures; unauthorized human intervention; traffic congestion; garbled or jumbled transmissions; undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering; insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail; or other errors of any kind, whether due to electronic, mechanical or human error or other causes; even if caused by the negligence of any of the Releasees. Each of such potential Entries will be disqualified. Void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, local and municipal laws and regulations.
6. CONDITIONS:
Each entrant by entering the Sweepstakes agrees that: [1] he/she will abide by and be bound by the Rules and the Sponsor's decisions; [2] the Entry becomes solely the Sponsor's property and will not be acknowledged; [3] the Releasees are not responsible for claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of the prize; participation in the Sweepstakes or in any activity or travel related thereto or from any interaction with, or downloading of, computer Sweepstakes information; [4] winner's acceptance of the prize constitutes the grant to Sponsor and assigns of an unconditional right to use winner's name and prize information and/or statements about the promotion for any publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law; [5] in the event of viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, Acts of God, acts or regulations of any governmental or supra-national authority, war, national emergency, accident, fire, riot, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism or other matters beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control, corrupt, prevent or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes, so that it cannot be conducted as originally planned, the Sponsor has the right to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes; and in such event, to select a winner by random drawing from among all eligible Entries received up to such time of cancellation, modification, termination or suspension; [6] the Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to: errors in the advertising, Rules and selection and announcement of the winner; [7] any portion of the Prize not accepted or used by the winner will be forfeited and [8] the Releasees are not responsible for any inability of the winner to accept or use the Prize (or any portion thereof) for any reason.
