RULES AND REGULATIONS

BY ENTERING THIS SWEEPSTAKES YOU MUST AGREE TO THESE RULES, WHICH CREATE A CONTRACT SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING.

1. SPONSOR:

Nexon America Inc., 137 N. Larchmont Blvd., #619 Los Angeles, CA 90004-3704, who is solely responsible for all aspects of this sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes").

2. ENTRY:

This Sweepstakes may only be entered by Internet, during the period commencing at 12:01 A.M., May 7, 2008, and ending at 11:59:59 P.M., June 10, 2008 (the "Sweepstakes Period"), as a registered member ("Member") of Nexon.net (the "Website"), which said Web site includes Sponsor's online game, MapleStory ("MapleStory"), by visiting the Web site and logging in by providing your Member Name and Password. For purposes of these Official Rules ("Rules"), all times and days are Pacific Time. If you are not a Member, you may easily register for free to become a Member through the link on the site: www.nexon.net by filling out the simple Registration Form. Upon registration, or if you are already a Member, you may enter this Sweepstakes (the "Entry") by doing the following: visit the GameMaster's Blog at www.maplestory.nexon.net and leave a comment or a shout out in the comments space (and by following this procedure you automatically become an "Entrant" to this Sweepstakes). Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your online service will apply. No purchase is necessary to enter.

3. PROCEDURES:

At the close of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor shall randomly select Thirty (30) Entrants pursuant to the entry requirements set forth above as the Winners of the Sweepstakes (hereafter referred to as the "Winners"). After the Winners are chosen, Sponsor shall send notification to the Winners via e-mail which shall also include a request for each Winner's login information. Each Winner shall have 48 hours to respond to Sponsor's message and supply its login information to be eligible to receive the Prize. Upon response, Sponsor shall then verify whether a Winner is in good standing with Sponsor's Website. Upon verification as set forth herein, the Prize will be transferred to the Winner's account. Disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner may result from any of the following: [1] In the event Sponsor identifies a Winner who has been banned the Website, [2] the return of any notice as undeliverable; [5] potential Winner's failure to respond to Sponsor's notification within 48 hours of receipt and [6] any other non-compliance with the Rules. In the event of disqualification, a new winner will be chosen subject to the same procedure set forth above. ODDS OF WINNING WILL DEPEND ON THE TOTAL NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED. A list of the Winners may be provided by sending a self addressed stamped envelop to Nexon America Inc. at 137 N. Larchmont Blvd., #619 Los Angeles, CA 90004-3704. Allow 8-10 weeks for reply.

4. PRIZE:

Each Winner shall receive 30,000 Maple Points which shall be transferred into each Winner's account. The retail value of the Prize is US$10.00; however, it is not transferable or redeemable for cash. The Prize may only be used and redeemed in Sponsor's MapleStory Cash Shop. No substitutions are allowed.

5. LIMITATIONS:

All Entries must be received by 11:59:59 P.M., June 10, 2008. To be eligible to win the Prize, there is a limit of no more than two (2) comments that a Member may leave on the GameMaster's Blog (regardless of whether one person has more than one membership or more than one person use the same membership). Comments made on GameMaster's Blog shall not be defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful, threatening or in Sponsor's sole discretion, unsuitable for its Blog, In event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an Entry, the Entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the membership is registered. Entries by any method other than set forth above in Section 2 are void. Any use of automated or programmed methods of effecting Entry is prohibited. Open only to persons 13 or older upon entering who are legal residents of, and physically located within, the 50 states, D.C. or Canada (excluding Quebec) ("Territory") and not employees of Sponsor, its parent, subsidiary or affiliated companies; the advertising, promotional or fulfillment agencies of any of them (individually and collectively, "Entities"); nor members of their households or immediate families. In addition, persons entering the Sweepstakes must be in good standing with Sponsor's Web site and have not been banned from MapleStory. Neither the Entities, nor any of their officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents or representatives (individually and collectively, "Releasees") are responsible for Entries from persons residing, or physically located, outside the Territory, or Entries that are altered, delayed, deleted, destroyed, failed, fraudulent, improperly accessed, inaccurate, incomplete, interrupted, late, lost, misrouted, multiple, non-delivered, stolen, tampered with, unauthorized or unintelligible; or any printing, production, technical, electronic or other errors; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable network, server or other connections; miscommunications; failed phone, computer hardware or software or telephone transmissions; technical failures; unauthorized human intervention; traffic congestion; garbled or jumbled transmissions; undeliverable e-mails resulting from any form of active or passive e-mail filtering; insufficient space in entrant's e-mail account to receive e-mail; or other errors of any kind, whether due to electronic, mechanical or human error or other causes; even if caused by the negligence of any of the Releasees. Each of such potential Entries will be disqualified. Void where prohibited or restricted by law and subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial, local and municipal laws and regulations.

6. CONDITIONS:

Each entrant by entering the Sweepstakes agrees that: [1] he/she will abide by and be bound by the Rules and the Sponsor's decisions; [2] the Entry becomes solely the Sponsor's property and will not be acknowledged; [3] the Releasees are not responsible for claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the awarding, delivery, acceptance, use, misuse, possession, loss or misdirection of the prize; participation in the Sweepstakes or in any activity or travel related thereto or from any interaction with, or downloading of, computer Sweepstakes information; [4] Winner's acceptance of the prize constitutes the grant to Sponsor and assigns of an unconditional right to use Winner's name, likeness, the name and likeness of Winner's character/avatar and prize information and/or statements about the promotion for use in Sponsor's iTCG card collection and website and any publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law; [5] in the event viruses, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, Acts of God, acts or regulations of any governmental or supra-national authority, war, national emergency, accident, fire, riot, strikes, lock-outs, industrial disputes, acts of terrorism or other matters beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control, corrupt, prevent or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play of the Sweepstakes, so that it cannot be conducted as originally planned, the Sponsor has the right to cancel, modify, terminate or suspend the Sweepstakes; and in such event, to select a winner by random drawing from among all eligible Entries received up to such time of cancellation, modification, termination or suspension; [6] the Releasees are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of this Sweepstakes, including but not limited to: errors in the advertising, Rules and selection and announcement of the Winner; [7] any portion of the Prize not accepted or used by the Winner will be forfeited and [8] the Releasees are not responsible for any inability of the Winner to accept or use the Prize (or any portion thereof) for any reason.
